Our teleconferencing system runs on newer, advanced equipment that allows you to manage your conference calls thoroughly and reliably. Our call center is staffed with professionally trained English Spanish and French conference operators.
This is our Toll Free Reservation-less Teleconferencing service. International Toll Free access is also available, enabling participants from abroad to dial-in at no charge to them.
In a Teleconference, you have the following controls:
- Dial out to one or more participants and join them to the call.
- Place participants in listen only mode so you are the only one who can speak.
- Mute or un-mute your own line. If you are not speaking you may wish to use this feature to eliminate any interface or background noise.
- Lock your conference so no one else can join. This ensures confidentiality of your calls.
- End the conference call by disconnecting all lines.
- Get a count of how many participants are on the call.
- Hear a recording of the participants' name as they enter the conference.
- Reach an operator for help.
Participants have two touch-tone commands available to them:
- Mute and un-mute their own line. This prevents background noise from disturbing the conference.
- Reach an operator for help.

Operator-Assisted Teleconferencing
Web Conferencing Central has a call center staffed with professionally trained English, Spanish and French conference operators. Our operators can give a conference call the professional touch it deserves. For larger meetings, you may opt for operators to dial out to each participant and join them to the call. For high profile calls, each participant dialing in can be greeted individually and placed on hold to music until the call begins.
Event Calls
Our dedicated Operator-Assisted Teleconferencing can be tailored to suit your particular needs. Here are some of the services we offer:
- Greet each participant.
- Take down participants' information requested by the host company.
- Place the Chairperson and guest speaker(s) in a separate conference to test their line sound qualityand to go over special instructions for the call.
- Announces the guest speaker and/or host company.
- May announce the participants one by one, if required.
- Mute the participants' lines (lecture mode) to ensure the best sound quality during the event.
- Manage a formal question and answer period at the end of the conference. The participants may be asked to register to ask questions.
